Initial Appointment

Establish the desired vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO).

Take a wash impression if needed, using the appropriate tray adhesive.

Reseat the dentures and verify midline, incisal edge position, VDO, lip support, esthetics, and occlusion.

Capture the bite registration and scan each denture 360°, then scan both dentures together in the recorded bite.

Submit records to AvaDent for try-in design and fabrication.

Try-In Appointment

1

Seat the try-in and verify fit. Adjust or take a wash impression if needed.

Confirm midline, incisal edge position, VDO, lip support, esthetics, and occlusion.

If approved, submit the case to AvaDent for final fabrication.

If changes are needed, repeat the applicable initial records and submit updated files for redesign.
