Initial Appointment

Take abutment-level impression over LOCATORs
Capture soft tissue around abutments precisely
Remove all housings before scanning or shipping
If possible, digitally scan impressions and upload with RX
If no scanner, ship impressions to AvaDent

ANALOG IMPRESSION

Wax Rim Appointment

Verify fit. Adjust and/or take a wash impression as needed
Seat wax rims with LOCATOR pockets to verify vertical dimension and occlusion
Record midline, smile line, and occlusal plane
Capture bite registration

BASE PLATE W/ BITE RIM

Try-In Appointment

Try-in full-color prototype denture with locator pockets
with LOCATOR housings in place
Verify fit. Adjust and/or take a wash impression as needed
Verify esthetics, phonetics, and occlusion
Make adjustments as necessary and confirm with the patient

FULL-COLOR TRY-IN

Full Color Printed Try-In

Final Fit

Deliver AvaMax Overdenture with LOCATOR recesses or standard AvaDent overdenture
Use the chairside pickup technique to engage housings
Confirm passive fit, retention, and provide patient care instructions
